travel - spain
I went to Spain in March of 2005 for my solar return. Generally I had a wonderful time. The greatest problem I had was that I'm a vegetarian, don't speak Spanish, and there are not a great many vegetarian main dishes in Spain. I did have someone write down in Spanish: “I am a vegetarian.” Then, since I do allow myself eggs and cheese I had them add: “But eggs and cheese are okay.” The result was that my first 5 meals consisted of two eggs (sunny-side up) with some cheese on the side. Ah well.
I went back to Spain in December of 2005 to the Canary Islands.
