problems
I see a number of problems with this type of book.
- Continuous beginnings. Most of the time in reading a book one starts slow,
gets faster in the middle, and ends the book reading the most. A reason for
this is that one gets involved with the characters and the plot.
Although in this book I see a plot of continuous advancement I also see that from one chapter to another—or one life to another—there will almost need to be a new beginning. Of course better books seem to have "hooks" at their beginnings to get one interested, but this will be an area which is a potential problem and will need to be worked on.
- New author. Well, perhaps not a "new" author as I have been writing for
many a year. "Hoped-to-be published" author might be a better phrase. But
it is difficult getting new works published.
- No writers group. I've noted in several of the recent books that I've read that the author belonged to a writers group. Unfortunately at the moment I seem to be traveling quite a bit and thus it would be difficult to join an writers group. Perhaps individuals reading these messages can help in the same way.
