assumptions
There are many assumptions. I will include the list here and add to it as time goes on.
- All races are the same. In truth I expect that there are not only differences in race, but even differences in countries and cultures. For the purpose of this book though we will assume that all races are the same.
- Each individual has several different vehicles he/she uses. These are:
- Physical
- Emotional
- Mental
- Psychological
- Spiritual
-
Physical
- Positive - learning a physical skill.
- Negative - possibly a physical fight with lessons learned.
-
Emotional
- Positive - perhaps a yelling match between two people which ends well.
- Negative - perhaps a yelling match between two people which ends poorly.
-
Mental
- Positive - perhaps a debate between two people which ends well.
- Negative - perhaps a debate between two people which ends poorly.
-
Psychological
- Positive - perhaps a discussion of some psychological problems between two people which ends well.
- Negative - perhaps a discussion of some psychological problems between two people which ends poorly.
-
Spiritual
- Positive - perhaps an endeavor to help out on a community problem – like working in a soup kitchen - which ends well.
- Negative - perhaps an endeavor to help out on a community problem – like working in a soup kitchen - which ends poorly.
- Included with this might be another level, that being the way people relate to one another which seems to be gradually outward. Thus we have: self, family, neighborhood, city/state, country, and world. To match this with the above we could put neighborhood/city/state together. As cultures differ it might be wise to include religion and race, perhaps as country/relgion/race.
- We cannot learn all of our lessons in one lifetime, thus we'll assume that reincarnation exists.
- The more important lessons are learned by people that we are the closest to. Thus we will assume that during our lifetime some of the individuals around us are individuals we have known from other lifetimes.
- One cannot go backwards in reincarnation, e.g., you cannot go from a human back to a dog. Once you are a human you continue to be a human until you have learned all of your lessons; then, and only then, can you move on.
- Time does not go backwards. I really do not know the complete nature of time, but the assumption for this book is that it only goes forward. We cannot therefore have one lifetime in the 1800’s and the next in the 1500’s.
- We all have the same lessons to learn, but each of our paths are a little different. There are times when our best individual path is via an organized religion and times when we walk alone. No religion is better then any other, although at times one particular religion might be better for us for a period of time.
- Astrology will probably not be used. It might be possible to write stories like The Labors of Hercules by Alice A. Bailey where each labor was in a different astrology sign and related to that sign. If I can include some of that I will, but that may make writing this more difficult then it should be.
