about
The Shiesl Corporation was incorporated in New Jersey on February 25, 1977 as a small family business for the purpose of providing medical slides to biological supply houses.
In 1988 it was determined by the board that an additional product of computerized reviews could be provided for medical technology schools, thus the Medicomp software was developed.
In 1993 the president, Dorothy Good, passed on and Rick Good became president. The corporation decided to focus on software and turned the medical slide part of the business over to Steven Larkin. The addition of PIP II and SpecPro software to aid individuals in their spiritual assessment was also completed in 1993.
The corporation moved to a location in Vermont in 1995.
In 1998 Shiesl started to do web design professionally as several businesses saw examples of the Shiesl web site and requested Shiesl Corporation design their web site.
In 2001 it was decided to turn the Medicomp software business over to Stephen Hsu, the son of one of the Medicomp module authors so that the Shiesl Corporation could focus more on the web design aspect of its business and it's other programming.
In 2003 the corporation moved to Denmark after Mr. Good had spent several months there in 2001 and 2002. The corporation now focuses on providing international web sites and continues to develop its software.
